Exciting Changes to Migme: The New Era of Social Media Networking

Amazing feature added to social media mig.me with many exciting user friendly and challenging things to do. Mig.me is always fun, this time this social media network come out with many new exciting featurs and things to do for its users. 
 
If you are on web, or the latest apps on Android and iOS, you would have noticed some big changes on migme. We’ve introduced an easier way to identify migUsers, and spread the love a whole lot more. We’ve made changes to the labels system, badges system, as well as introduced a new form of migCredits. Read on to discover what’s changed, and look forward to seeing many more changes ahead!

Changes to labels

The new system will allow more users to be recognized and rewarded for their actions. In the future on mig, users will have more opportunities to gain powers and status through their actions. Here are the list of changes to the labels system:

    Labels look different, and will have different powers that will enable special users do even more on mig.
    Some existing labels will no longer appear on miniblog profiles in the new system.
        Chatroom Admin (CA) and Group Admin (GA) will still hold their powers in their chatrooms and groups respectively but their labels will no longer appear.
        Merchant Mentors (MT) will now have the same label as Merchants. Mentors can now be identified with their special Mentor badge and will still m2aintain their chatroom colors and recruiting abilities.
        The 137 community can now be recognised by their exclusive 137 badge as their label will no longer appear.
    To better identify and support your favorite artists, they now possess their very own Partner label.
    The Verified Users label is now used for official accounts, companies, or individuals that are influential in their community or industry.
    We are introducing a new label, the Power User. To be a Power User, you will have to prove yourself to be active and engaged, and an important member of the mig community.


Just what is a Power User?

Power Users are role models for the community – users that we trust and count on to be good members of the community and that new users should aspire to be. The label will give the user rewards like bigger chatrooms and a larger miniblog character limit.

Here’s what labels look like now:

Power User: A role model for the community, and is very active on mig. They can create bigger chatrooms and have a larger miniblog character limit.

Merchant: Trusted resellers of credit on mig. They can now create bigger chatrooms and have a larger miniblog character limit. Special Merchant badges will also be available.

Partners: Artists on mig, like models, musicians, or YouTubers. They can now create bigger chatrooms and have a larger miniblog character limit. Special Partner badges will also be available.
 

Verified Users: Someone influential in their community, and is only given to users after a verification process. They can now create bigger chatrooms and have a larger miniblog character limit.

Better badges system

Badges as you know them will become much more important in mig. Instead of being just icons on a page, they will now track how active you’ve been on mig, and reward you for it. In the future on mig, users will have more opportunities to gain powers and status through their actions.

    New badges are available for you to collect; there will be more introduced in the coming months. Collect them by being active on mig and doing special tasks.
    There will be beginner to advanced levels for many badges, with awesome rewards the higher you get.
    The more active you are on mig, the more badges you’ll unlock. Check out the new Achievement page on your profile!
    Your Badges page will have a new section, called ‘Archived’. Old badges that can no longer be unlocked will be stored here, clearing up your regular Badges list so it’s easier to see and show off your activity on mig.

A New Currency: MGC

We are changing the virtual currency system on mig. Instead of migCredits appearing in your local currency, we will be moving to migCoins, also known as MGC for short. MGC’s will be a new standardized currency for all mig users.
